| TROIKA has developed a highly efficient copy and quality control toolbox DEVA. DEVA provides a low cost solution to the requirement for in field data copy, edit, polygon selection and quality control of field data. User Friendly DEVA is a field data copy system providing data selection, viewing and distribution tools. Based on the widely used Magma transcription package DEVA has been specifically designed to assist the user in carrying out quality assurance and quality control of data to the highest level. The user may plot and list multiplexed and demultiplexed field data. The easy to use interface provides a flow chart, step by step building of a job deck. Each module may be double clicked for editing and modules repeatedly called for providing multiple listings and plots.

| Connectivity DEVA can be interfaced to any standard SCSI devices via an Adaptec controller including; 9-track, 3480, 3490, 3490E, 3590, Exabyte 8200, 8500, 8505, 8700, DLT, DAT, DVD, CD etc. Multiple drives may also be attached and run as separate job streams to increase throughput. A number of robotic devices have been implemented, and direct connectivity to Databases supplying indexed data with either standard format output or OASIS data-model. Should this be of interest please contact Troika for further information. Support for the older tape and media are also available under our associated produce Magma. Listing A number of lists are created whilst transcription is being carried out, these may be used for quality assurance purposes, saving to disk, printout etc. These lists include details of the data that has been read from and written to tape providing a machinereadable listing for import to a database, spread sheet for labelling or documentation such as transmittals. |
Plotting Plotting is to a TIFF graphics file, displayed on-screen or output to a printing or plotting device. The plot module can be called more than once in a parameter file and consequently multiple plots can be generated within one job for true quality control of the data passing through the system. In the case of field data this would typically be all or every nth field file. Single data trace may be selected for plotting to create a snap shot of the total dataset in the case of a near trace gather. Simultaneously individual auxiliary traces or other data traces may be selected for plotting. Purchase and Licensing DEVA is written in a modular form so that individual formats may be purchased. There is also the opportunity to purchase a pay as you go license to spread cost or run a project and pay for data output.
